I want to start off by thanking everyone that wished me a happy birthday (2/17). I tried to personally reply to everyone and got lost 🤦🏾♂️. I appreciate the love.
Thursday was an amazing day that started with having some Jamaican Chickpea Patties and a smoothie from @vegbyhakin. Always great running into him and excited to see they are expanding their offerings really soon.
Later in the day, I had the honor of being interviewed by @giobalance at @communitynewspapers in South Miami. I will be sharing it soon on our website, but give them a follow to see how to watch the replay.
While I was in the area, I stopped by @vegancubancuisine for some empanadas and other assorted goodness. Thank you as always for your kindness.
I have to give a shout-out to @leavesandrootslounge even though I didn’t shoot any footage. I’m there almost every day so I forget to capture the moments. 😅
Then I had dinner at @theislandfusiongrill. You can see my previous post for more food shots. Delicious food and super authentic oxtail. Reminds me of my childhood growing up Jamaican.
Finally, I went to @tikitidekava since it was close by. Super-friendly staff.
I am also excited to announce my first book called Pre-Vegans. It’s all about sharing vegan origin stories to help motivate people who are interested or just adopting the vegan lifestyle. It features a lot of the people we interviewed on our podcast including @earthlinged, @torre.washington, and of course @badassvegan. It comes out in March, and you can pre-order on soflovegans.com.
